Lab Report Upload Error - Project ID or Sample Delivery Group

Question:

The error "The lab report could not be imported as we were not able to find the Project ID or Sample Delivery Group in ESdat" has popped up in Lab Uploads and showing me the Details and Actions pop-up message.

The lab report doesn't show in ‘Lab Reports’.

Answer:

This error occurs if the Project ID included in the lab data files is not in ESdat.

If the Project ID reported by the lab is incorrect and the lab report should go into another project that has already been set-up in ESdat the error can be resolved by clicking on the “Import Lab Report to Other Project”.

Otherwise, if this project is new and requires setting up in ESdat, you can click on the “Create Project and Import Lab Report” – this will create the Project and import the Lab Report into it.
