Editing Approved Lab Reports

Question:
I approved a laboratory report which requires editing. Can this be done without revoking the approval or completely deleting the report from ESdat? When clicking on the Site or Location Code boxes, I am unable to edit anything.
Answer:
Approving a lab report essentially locks it from editing. As part of the lab report review process, the sample information including Site and Location fields should be populated/matched before approving to ensure your samples and associated data are correctly linked to those fields in ESdat.
You will need to revoke approval in order to edit these details. You will also need the Manage permission for the project to be able to perform this action of selecting the Site / Location.
