I was importing some chemistry data in the crosstab format and now it appears as though my screen is stuck on validation
Answer:
Part of the issue is the "-" that has been included in all the cells that don't have a numerical result. ESdat needs to "validate" that these aren't results. So, the total number of records it is validating is the rows * columns.
To improve the efficiency, it is recommended to remove all the dashes from the Excel template results cells before uploading into ESdat.
