Question:
I am trying to export a table for trip spikes on a specific lab report but it doesn’t appear when I go to QA->Trip Spikes despite of assigning it as Trip_S on the lab report. Other Trip Spikes on other lab reports on this project are assigned as Trip_S similarly and show up on Trip Spike tables.

Answer:
Trip Spikes can be dealt with in two ways by the laboratory:
1. A recovery with units of % is reported
2. If a result concentration is reported, a trip spike
control (TSC) sample should then also be provided.
If the recovery is reported in % then no parent/TSC is
needed. If as a concentration, then a TSC parent sample must be provided in the
report by the lab.
