Show Duplicate Pairs on Analytical Tables

Question:

I have a query about sample information placement during table creation. I would like duplicate pairings to be shown together on the table – Normal sample on the first row and immediately followed by its field and interlab dupes.
See snip below:

Is there a way I could group them together without adding “depth” to the duplicates (as dupes do not usually have their depth indicated?) If so, in what order should the sample information fields be?

Answer:

Take a look at the sample IDs for the Primary - Duplicate pairs, depending on how the samples have appeared on the CoC and then how they are reported sorting by sample ID might give you the outcome you are looking for.

Monitoring Zone

Location Code

Depth

Date

Lab Report Number

Lab Sample ID

Field ID

Other suggestion is to review how the Primary and Duplicate samples are named so that they will sort in the way you want them to using the field ID
